Schools
We can offer your pupils twice-weekly classes in term time throughout the school year. Children who don’t naturally engage with academic education often excel in trades such as plastering, bricklaying, painting and decorating. As well as learning these useful skills, pupils naturally grow in confidence while they learn.
Parents
Our term-time classes for home-educated and flexi-schooled children run twice a week in term-time throughout the year. Children can learn a trade and boost their confidence in group or individual settings. Regular courses in bricklaying, plastering, painting and decorating.
SEND Educational Provision
Children with different learning or behavioural needs who are struggling in an academic setting often thrive when they come to Gillies Skills Academy. Billy understands that we all learn differently and courses will be tailored to the learner. Both group and one-to-one settings are available. As their skills improve, our pupils’ confidence inevitably increases. It is an honour to watch them develop into skilled tradespeople who understand the value they can add to an organisation when applying for work.

About Me
Experienced tradesman Billy found school difficult, leaving education with limited qualifications. When he became involved in property renovation, he realised that learning a trade offered him the sort of fulfilment he never gained from academic learning. As his confidence developed, he realised that others in a similar situation would benefit from learning a trade. Billy is passionate about helping people who face the challenges he overcame as a youngster. He is committed to making a positive impact on the local Worcestershire community by offering affordable training opportunities for those who need them.
